Things are starting to pick-up. We are still in the classrooom a lot. Lots of instruction going on. But yesterday was our 1st 'outing'. We did our 1st road ruck-sack march (3k). We marched to Treadwell Tower, where we repelled. No, it was not fun. Yes, I was scared to death. I walked down that 40ft wall. No bouncing for me. :) But I did it! I have no plans to ever do that again.
Tomorrow, we have the TDC (Team Development Course). This should be FUN. Really looking forward to it.
I am in a bay with 59 other females and OMG! I have no plans to ever do this again either (live with females) There have already been cat fights between some of the girls. Girls are dramatic. I'm just trying to lay low - I have a few girls I keep up with and the rest I just stay away from.
I'm so glad everyone has checked out the Facebook page (Bravo Bushmasters) this morning at PT the Drill Sergeant asked "who is Tillis?" He said I had a lot of people who loved me... awwww... Thanks ya'll. I got shout-outs. Also, I haven't gone a day without mail and I feel so special. It's something to look forward to. Sundays are my letter writing days.
